[Discovery of BN Bacteria] This is a unique microbial strain discovered, researched, and developed independently by Meiji Co., Ltd. It was discovered in the late 1980s at the Pharmaceutical Research Institute of Meiji Seika Co., Ltd. (at the time) in Yokohama.
